    Hi,

    My old Samsung had a wonderful utility that only charged the battery to 80% capacity reducing long term battery wear.

    Anything for acer ?

    Yeah, on a Samsung you could limit the charge to 80% a setting in the bios and software in windows , it was called "Battery Life Extender"

    But i have seen nothing similar on the Acer :(
