    Hello ...
    i have acer 5750g ... but there is two proplems ...
    1 - : i can't play gta iv with detected card (NVIVDIA gt540) ..
    when i go to graphics i have just 200 mb (for intel card) ...
    i try with some method but it's dosn't mach ...

    2- : some times the temperature is about 85 c* is there a proplems ..??

    sorry may English language isn't good ... but i think this is best forum to ask about my proplems ...

    All I can tell you that 85*C under load is acceptable- not the coolest but not nearly so hot that you would have to worry about it.

    The screenshots however are completely unreadable for me and probably most of us here so I can't elaborate on this subject.

    Likely the game detects his graphics as the intel ones.

    Is it just this one game? What performance do you get? Are sure optimus is just hiding the fact that the nvidia graphics are working?


    Nvidia card renders frame -> puts it in Intel graphics buffer -> Intel graphics outputs frame (game detects intel chip only)

    Somewhere in the Nvidia software there's a way to set it up to use one GPU or the other by force based on what you're running. Set it to always use Nvidia when running GTA IV
