This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Is the 2003 the better machine in spite of the fact that 2012 is the bigger number?

    It mainly depends on what the configuration is on the 2003 model. You have to compare CPU, memory, GPU/Memory, HDD, and all other features. I have checked Acer's site and the 2003 is no longer listed. Unless this model is only available in specific countries.
