    Hey people.

I purchased an ACER 5100 about a week ago, and its quite a nice little laptop.

I have a few questions though.

    1. How can i assign the little square silver pad in between the mouse clickers. I was thinking about assigning it to so i can use it to scroll pages and for going back and forward on webpage...

    2. How do i adjust contrast/brightness?

    3. How can i format it too fat32... i heard it made the laptop faster....

I did uninstall the whole acer arcade, eSettings, eManagment, eBatterymanager etc etc...so that may be a problem

thanks if anyone can help :)

I think NTFS is faster with large partitions, just turn off timestamps in the registry and NTFS wont track the date for every file when its clicked. To adjust brightness, hold down FN and use the arrows on the bottom right key corner. Can also adjust volume using this, not sure why.
