Hello
I am a "silver surfer" with limited computer knowledge and would greatly appreciate help.
I recently purchased a new 5920G laptop and have been delighted with my purchase.
After becoming familiar with the 5920G's basic functions, I am trying to become more adventurous and I am thinking of burning some DVDs.
However, I am confused because the machine came with what appears (to my computer-illiterate eye) to be 3 sets of software to do the same functions - Acer Arcade Deluxe, Cyberlink Power Producer and NTI CD and DVD Maker.
Can someone more knowledgeable please tell me whether all these 3 programs are the same and ,if not, what the differences are?
Also which one would be best for a beginner like me to use for burning DVDs ?
I have Vista Home Premium SP1.
Many thanks in advance for help !!

Just use nti cd and dvd maker. Works well. Also make sure you make your recovery cd's. Use e-recovery for that.

Acer Arcade Deluxe is software to playback DVDs, not burn them.
Cyberlink Power Producer is a DVD movie maker, using clips and images to create your own content.
NTI CD/DVD Maker is what you're looking for, JJ. -
Many thanks for the helpful responses.
Your guidance is much appreciated !! -
No problem, JJ!
