Ok, my dvd-rom has gone nuts. The laptop is new (4 days old) and the optical drive will not burn dvd/cdrs, it will not "see" music, blank dvd/cdrs and cdroms at all. it only plays dvd's. It gives me "the disk in drive E is not formatted correctly' error. The drive will not even pick up the win XP bootable disk. What is wrong with this thing? Everything else on the laptop works well, it's just the optical drive has lost it's mind.
