I have just instaled a new hard drive in a 3050 and i have installed windows xp, as it used to have vista. i have installed all the drivers for sound, card reader, graphics and all is good. But, i cannot get the wireless to work, even after instaling the drivers. it will work with a wireless dongle ok and go online. Any ideas. thanks in advance.

You mind telling us what wireless card you have so we can help you search for XP compatible drivers? You are probably using Vista drivers, which could be a reason why it isn't working.

Did you check under network adaptors in device manager. This should tell you what wireless card you have.

If it's not listed in device manager then something may be wrong. When you installed your new HDD, you may have accidently knocked it or unseated it???
