    Just called up my friend in Acer and he went and looked at one, The HD is only 4200rpm Hitachi Model IC25N060ATMR-04. 60GB 4200rpm.

    Yeah, a few users unfortunately found this out a bit too late. After getting their units, they found out it was a 4200rpm HDD. They were specifically told by Acer Sales/Support that the HDD was a 5400rpm drive. Talk about a cheese off! [ :(!]
