Well, I finally ordered the 3201XCi last Saturday, and it's arriving today. Now, has anyone upgraded the RAM or hard drive in this thing? I'm planning to get a 1 GB DIMM to boost the RAM past 1 GB and to get the 7200 RPM hard drive. I know people have installed the 5400 rpm drive, so is it very hard?

Also, has anyone put 1 GB DIMMs in it yet?

I haven't changed the Mem, but I'll share my HDD changing experience.

    In a word: simple.

You unscrew the bigger back panel and there you see the HDD, plugged in via a printed plastic ribbon (so be really careful when dealing with the cable, cause those things are fragile). There's a little pull strap on the plug, so you jiggle it out, then put it in the new one. piece o' cake.
