I don't know if anybody has come across this yet (limited searching revealed little) but when I use GParted Live CD to check out the partitions on my laptop, the first device shown is not the 150GB SATA hard drive but some 32MB device???? Is this something to do with the shared graphics memory? A hidden ROM chip for boot loading or whatever? What is this all about? It is listed as unallocated space but I haven't dared touch it yet.

Ahh. Have discovered it is something to do with the DVD drive (from the Device Information menu option - which makes a bit of sense!) Oh well. Guess that ends any real fun, but I still feel none the wiser about what it really is? Cache perhaps?
