    3690 Battery life

    i have had a 3690 for nearly 3 months now and its great apart from battery life. i can get 1.45hrs out of it maximum has anyone any ideas on how to longer the battery life

    Its probably the battery that is failing, so a the time may have come to purchase a new battery. If you are doing all the standard power consumption reducing procedures, like decreasing the backlighnt intensity, then its unlikely that anymore time can be had from the battery.

    How many hours did you get initially off the battery?

    the battery is only 3 months old though,

    i think i have found out why it is so low on power. its only a 4 cell



    And jetstar, this is what the charge in the battery when i opened the box

    I think that there are 6 cell (11.1V, 4000mAh) and 8 cell (14.8V, 4800mAh) battery packs available from Acer.
