Hey all, I have a 3810TZ and it seems to randomly freeze a lot. I'll be listening to music and all of a sudden the entire computer locks up with the sound looping/stuttering. It'll do this for about 1 minute and then just recover out of nowhere.

It seems to have occurred after I installed Windows 7 SP1 (I've already done a fresh format as well). I installed all the drivers from the Acer site and also updated video drivers from the Intel site.

    Anyone else having this issue?

I'll offer the same advice I did to an earlier poster... boot into Ubuntu or any other O/S from a USB thumb drive, and try playing a media from the hard drive... if the problem keeps occuring, my guess is that the hard drive would be starting to fail.
