    I still use your 1810T tray on my 1410T. It was an incredibly useful program. This looks really interesting. 'Bout time you got a 3820TG. :D

    external monitor.....

    btw.
    im looking for a good possibilty to switch the graphics per profile.

    till now i found a way via hotkeys. you configure a hotkey in CCC for ati and one for intel and 3820tgtray send this hotkeys.

    or disable the ati in devicemanger with devcon. (but i dont know if its that powersaving this way)

    any better idea.

    Looks great! Is this a one shop stop or is it a management utility that manages multiple programs (from one UI) that have to first be installed and configured?

    inteks, any particular reason you prefer x86?

    it manage some programms like setfsb and atigpuclocktool
    it use netsh to configure wifi and lan
    it use windows api to configure some systemsetting for you if you want (powerscheme, resolution, hosts, proxy server ......)

    x86 i prefer because of compatibility. no need for x64 till now!
    are you aware that windows7.x86 use the memory above 4GB automaticly as virtualmemory/swapspace! so the only problem with x86 is that each app can adress only 3gb of mem (witch is more then enough)

    i started a few apps to test the limit of x86 with 4GB and ->
    it's magic :eek:

    windows x86 use more memory then installed :cool:

    here is a really early first alpha ;) only for hardcore users !!!

    update: v01 (fixed a few bugs ;) )

    Partially up and running. Seems to work fine so far from what I can see. Looks like the basic 1810tray so far.

    Error message?

    if atigpuclocktool work then yes ;o)

    @all
    btw. because the "-restore" switch of the atigpuclock tool not works i will switch to intel and back to ati to reactivate powerplay if you select the "reset" checkbox.

    maybe i will go for msiafterburner for overclocking in next version because it will leave powerplay on and set only "max" gpufreq to i.e 650
    pro->thats more battery friendly . . .
    con->but i dont like running tasks in tha background

    what do you think? afterburner or atigpuclocktool ???

    Afterburner doesn't work on my 5470. I can't figure out a way to get the slider past the stock clocks for my 5470.

    Did you change the Enable Unofficial overclocking from 0 to 1 ?
    Its inside the msiafterburner.cfg on the msi afterburner folder..

    Yup. They are as follows:

    [ATIADLHAL]
    UnofficialOverclockingEULA =
    UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1
    AccessibilityCheckingPeriod = 0

    update:

    i done some refactoring so testing is need !

    -i.e the profiles and all other config is now filebased instead of registry.
    they are textfiles and are in the config folder.

    -msiafterburner is used now (has to be installed and overclocking enabled)

    -devices/services can now "restart" not only on and off
    (i.e. on my 3820tg sometime after switching the graphics areo is turned off! so i add uxsms to services and set to "restart" ;) )

    quickfix! last version has problem with x64, sry

    Was that why I was getting an evenhanded exception when I was trying to alter the clock speeds on the GPU?

    I'll give #3 a try. No exception this time but I can't seem to make the clockspeeds change by resetting them from the Tray. They work fine if I reset them from Afterburner. Am I doing something wrong?

    i dont have an reset implemented. if you like to reset to default set it to 550/800

    3820tgtray writes a profile9 to afterburner configfile and applies it via commandline. "\MSIAfterburner.exe -profile9"
    this was the only way i found for a simple remotecontrol of afterburner.exe
