    Acer launched an upgraded version of their 3820tg. It features the core i7 640m processor.

    This is available for about 1.3 million won inkorea which is about 1250 US

    Their core i5 model with the 460m is about 950$ US.

    Why not just get another one and put the CPU in yourself? I would not thought you would get much of a warrenty for a machine from korea.
