attempted to take my laptop apart to apply my new mx-4 and what do you know the center screw on the bottom plate (that houses the ram/hd) decided it was not gonna like my screw driver.

any laptop friendly ideas on removing this screw? iv already tried the rubber band trick, tomorrow im gonna try and use some super glue in there after i pick up another screwdriver that i feel is better fitting.

i want to grind a slate into it to use a standard screw driver but unfortunately the screw is tucked into a hole.

A jewler's file (pointed) will slot the screw. I would try a better fitting screw driver first.

Your post reminds me that I promised to send someone a screw and never did. :( I forget who it was now.
