I have an Aspire 1691 which comes with a ATI Mobility Radeon x700 128 MB. Is the mobility 3D card compatible with ATI's latest driver Catalsyt? Thanks.

The Mobility cards are not supported by any driver released by ATI. However, you may try Omega Drivers, which offers a modded version of the catalyst drivers supporting the mobility cards too.

You can try using the Mobility Modder that is available from:

    http://www.driverheaven.net

This will allow the installation of the actual ATI drivers from the ATI site to be installed on a notebook with the Mobility GPU. It has been updated to support the x700.
