I like the specs on this laptop, and I've found it for a great price:

    $840US

    Intel Pentium M 715 1.5 GHz (2mbL2)
    • RAM 512 MB, HD 40 GB
    • Microsoft Windows XP Professional (wish I could find it w/out OS)
    • 1 year warranty

The only thing I'm concerned about is the shared video memory. I won't be doing intense gaming w/the laptop, but I do plan to do extensive photo editing. Does anyone have experience using software like Photoshop with this system? Ideally, I'd purchase the 4002WLMI, but I can't justify spending an extra $500 for a better video card and a DVD-RW.

So, to wrap up, I'm happy with the specs on the 4001Lci and all the reviews have been favorable. BUT, the shared video...awful, or what?

    Appreciate the input!

    Phillip

Are u sure ...that 4002Wlmi comes with ATI...i doubt it cuz only ...European model comes with ATI card..other come with intel integrated it self

The only difference i thing with 4002wlmi(if not in europe)

    15.4 WideScreen
    Dvd-Dual
    and 60Gb hdd

Please report back here after confirming the Video card in 4002 ..if it ATI definitly its worth the $500 upgrade..
