    Hello all,

The screen on my Aspire 4315 has cracked and I'm on the search for a new one. After scouring ebay and other LCD screen distributors, I'm looking at about $80-$100 to replace it. I've noticed that ebay has listed some other 14.1 inch screens for much less and I'm wondering what the compatibility is like from screen to screen.

I figure that there can't be that much difference from screen to screen as far as connectors, etc. go (assuming that there's some kind of industry standard in place) so I'm windering if I can just grab a cheap 14.1" screen fro ebay and pop it in my laptop. If so, is there anything specific I should be looking for? pins number, connector type, etc? Or should I stick with the original model number?

    Thanks!
