Hi! I've been seaching but couldn't find anywhere the answer to why the 4500mhd on the GS45 doesn't go to 533mhz like it was supose ( http://www.anandtech.com/printarticle.aspx?i=3380 ) to?
obs: I'm using a 1410

gpu-z says my 4500mhd is running at 475mhz , also the link below says the "express 45" chipset runs only at 475mhz

It is entirely possible the manufacturer is limiting the maximum speed of the 4500MHD. Or the specific chipset you have does not support 533MHz as Tinderbox mentioned. In any event, upping the speed to 533MHz isn't really going to improve anything by much. The card isn't meant for gaming, and even at lower speeds it should be plenty powerful for everything else.

It`s strange that INTEL says it should be up to 533mhz , so they must have crippled it.

GPU-Z is wrong. And I think both everest and hwinfo32 give correct info -- the GPU is running at 320MHz instead of 475 or 533.

Intel says up to 533MHz, but I imagine there is a bit of a binning process or it is locked down to keep it within a certain power budget.

320mhz is a heck of a lockdown

I'm really hoping that the next version of GMABooster (to the x4500) will solve this problem.
