On most laptops that I have used in the past whatever screen brightness I set it to, it remains the same even if I turn the laptop off and on again. My 4820T's screen brightness is on full whack every time I turn it on.

Anyway to make it memories the brightness that I want?

Go to energy options and then look at the brightness settings for the particular battery/AC settings (like energy saving, full power etc.). It should apply those when starting up or unplugging it from the AC :).

I am finding that when you try to alter stock settings for standard settings like power saver or balanced, etc., they reset. I had to make a custom power setting to perm. alter the settings on start-up. That is how I solved my Wireless problem.
