I just got a 4820TG-6847 and reinstalled Windows on it. I have been working for hours trying to get the graphics drivers to update but they just won't. I keep getting error messages with AMD Catalyst, my current screen resolution only goes to 1024x768 (1366x768 max), and I'm just really frustrated with this thing. I thought I would have it all set up tonight

    Can anyone assist?

You didn't mention where you downloaded the drivers from but these are from Acer and should work. I don't know if you know this but you can't install the drivers from AMD's site when you have switchable graphics enabled in BIOS.

EDIT: Forgot to ask, what are the error messages you are getting?

Thank you so much. I swear, I must have downloaded ATI Catalyst 5 times and it never worked. Now it works perfectly. Thanks
