See title. Is it at all possible? I did it with my D900F's 5870M, so I know my way around a little bit... Just want to know if there are any concerns.
Thanks.

Bios is integrated into the system bios so it's very difficult.
The new MSI afterburner preserves powerplay when overclocking however so I would just stick to that. -
Damn. I just hate having a program open in the background all the time. Makes me crazy.
But good to know. That means that with Afterburner, I basically just set the 3d mode level, and it'll still clock down when not in use? Being able to set each step along with overvolting were my main objectives via vBIOS overclocking. -
This? http://forum.notebookreview.com/ace...ex-3820tg-mods-tweaks-only-5.html#post7281311
4820TG has Insyde BIOS, not Phoenix, but it should still be very similar. -

As for the modded BIOS I posted, I do not have 4820TG, but I am 100% sure there is no simple video overclock menu in the BIOS setup. You have to manually edit vBIOS to change to the clocks that you want.
I hope this helps. -
Nah, I was asking if the modded BIOS had 'User modified modules' enabled, from anything you'd read while discovering it.

Didn't aylafan try out the freshly baked unlocked Insyder BIOS image for the 4/5820TG (same BIOS) in the other thread? Or is there a separate BIOS for the actual GPU module.

There's the Insyde BIOS, and the Radeon VBIOS. Two different things, but linked together in this case.
