I'm curious to what wifi card this laptop is using. My wifi works using the Broadcom 802.11n driver from the acer website. The ethernet is Atheros 8251. Does anyone know the chipset for the wifi card?

*note sorry for the double post but no one seems to know in the 4820 lounge*

    Device Manager/Network Adapters/Properties/Details

Search Google for 5 minutes or less... obviously, it's a lower-end Broadcom Wi-Fi N card model. Just read the specifications.

Use AIDA or Everest. Wi-Fi chipset should be visible under physical devices/PCI devices.

I read BCM43XX on my details section. Then searching through the lower end models on the Broadcom page shouldn't be too hard. Since, most of them have Bluetooth, dual band, only G, only B/G, only B/G/A, Combo, etc. while yours should not.
