I installed 2, 2Gb memory modules in my aspire laptop with Windows 7 32bit,before i hade 1 2Gb and 1 1Gb and I could use all 3Gb.Now it says it windows I have 4Gb memory installed and can only use (still) 3Gb,whats with this?
    I bios i read:
    System mem:633Kb
    Extended mem:3839Mb
    Video mem:256Mb
I just wonder where the 800Mb went?

Because you have 32bit windows. You need 64 bit operating system to use all of the 4GB of memory.
