That will be no problem for sure :)
If it can handle 2 sticks of 1 GB, it can handle 2 sicks of 2 GB
Actually, I don't think your motherboard has anything to say in this :) or am I wrong?

it does make a difference whether the mainboard can support; this amount of ram shouldn't be an issue for this system. the operating systm needs to be 64-bit in order to address this much memory (although you do seem aware of this :))

Do it.. That's a good price.. Vista is ram hungry.. Do you have a link and is it the same ram that the 5920G takes. I'm looking to upgrade as well.

Hmm I can't find SDRAM modules on this site ( http://www.newegg.com). I see the regular memory modules of 2x1GB are around $100.
If I look on other sites, an SDRAM module of 2GB costs about €300.

edit: I found a SDRAM module on this site of around $100, but it's 2x1GB, no 1x2GB :)

Bookmarking that for sure as I plan on getting a new Laptop soon. I'll probably be better of searching 1GB models too and just throw 2 sticks of 2GB=4GB inside.

    Thanks for that link.
