is there a way to manage the cores, having one or both cores running and what are the advantages, also the ati radeon xpress card is suposs to be pci-e or just pci, because the bus said I have only pci, how can you have a pci-e installed on pci

I don't think you can disable one core,or use only one of them.AMD dual core optimizer driver will balance, distribute the load.
The integrated video card,Radeon Xpress 1100,does function on the pci-e bus,so no need to worry.

Microsoft also has a dual core patch for XP. if you dont see it on the hardware update page then search for it. I also use the AMD dual core patch as well.
