I've had an Acer 5103 for about a month now (bought from Tescos in the UK).

Originally the orbicam worked OK (in the Orbicam software, and when running Skype). Now, however, now in the orbicam software it just displays a 'gradiented view' - black at the top of the screen and white at the bottom. The green led is lit on the camera. When I rotate the camera past 180deg. the view switches so that it's white at the top of the screen and black at the bottom.

I just wondered whether anyone had had the same problem, before I go through the pain of trying to get in touch with customer support.

    cheers,
    Gary

Maybe, since the Orbicam is USB enabled, the USB connection on the motherboard came loose? I would only look into this if all else fails.
