    Hi im having trouble updating my video drivers the ati site is refusing to update my video card drivers and is sending me to the manufacturer, but the acer site doesnt have a download link for video drivers.
    Maybe i just missed the download link on the acer site if so i would appreciate someone pointing it out to me if not is there a some other place i can get the updates i need.

    The video card is ati mobility X1600
    Driver Packaging Version is 8.251-060427a-034514C-Acer

    The same problem. I hate Acer that it blockes the drivers. As far I understand we can use only Acer driwers from Acer site - there are only ones, which you use already.
    I have the same problem. My video card doesnt work properly. I think it is often over heated. My problem is I am abroad and I need PC. I can not afford to leave the PC for long reparation. I think my problem can be solved by downloading drivers for not so powerfull card, but its going together with MB drivers. Do you know which Acer has the some MB and video card with smallest frequency?
