    hi guys,

just got my acer aspire 1682, and ive noticed that in windows and in the bios my RAM is reported as 498 megs. isn't that kinda low for 512 on paper? shouldn't it be something higher than 498 (maybe like 509 or something)?

    thanks
    rohan

    thats 14mb of intergrated ram...?

    I know there si 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 of intergrated but i dont think 14mb exists...does it?

Im pretty sure there is no problem there...but i hope someone can clear this up!
