    5315-2153 Hard Drive Compatibility

    I would like to know if this hard drive is compatible with my 5315-2153? I am a little worried about the SATA 3.0Gb/s.
    Brand - HITACHI
    Series- Travelstar 5K320
    Model- HTS543232L9A300 (0A56417)
    Interface- SATA 3.0Gb/s
    Capacity- 320GB
    Cache- 8MB
    Average Seek Time- 12ms
    Average Latency- 5.5ms
    RPM- 5400 RPM
    Form Factor- 2.5"​

    Should be perfectly fine with your Acer. As long as the interface and form factor are correct, there shouldn't be any reason why it wont work.

    Should be no issues. I prefer Western Digital drives, but to each his own.

    I know my OEM hard drive now is a SATA 1.5Gb/s. So I should not be worried about the 3.0Gb/s being supported by my motherboard?

    I found my answer and I will use a hard drive with SATA 1.5Gb/s interface.
