    dvd spins on closure but not recognized by computer. Responds with please insert disk pops open the drive with dvd spinning. Used system restore, still the same. New drive in order? Can any laptop drive be used? Found a part supplier that states that the drive is a TS-L633.

    Any drive that uses the same connector meaning if you notebooks id old and uses ATA you need different drive than if it uses SATA- that's all.
