hey guys! my laptop clock is restarting every few hours! i cant seem to catch when it does it but i know that sometimes when i turn the computer off and i turn it back on, the computer resumes on the time which it was turned off! so the time just freezes when the computers off. This doenst happen all the time but it also happens when its on! i never seen it switched but i checked it now and a few hours later, it went back an hour!

Has anyone had this problem or anyone know any solutions?

your clock is regulated by your cmos battery. It may need to be replaced.

I couldn't say it any better...classic cmos issue.

Go to a any computer store and have them replace your cmos battery(small flat battery cell on the system motherboard) and that problem will go away.

I rarely see this happening now but apparently it still can
