This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     5672 Beeps @ Startup.

    My computer beeps like crazy at the white acer screen on start up, does this happen to anyone else? I shut the computer down properlly.. but when ever i start it up it beeps about 20-30 ttimes (loud).

    Sounds like too many beeps for a POST error. If the keyboard buffer gets full, (leave a key pressed for 10 secs - you'll find it then) the machine will beep like it's gone daft. Are you (accidentally) pressing any keys at startup?
