    5745DG sound indicator vanished

    Somehow the indicator showing sound output level has vanished from the screen.

    Fn+Up/Down arrows raises/lowers the sound output but the screen indicator is gone.

    Can anyone help find it?

    Right click in Taskbar, click properties, click customise for Notification area and select Volume icon "Show icon and Notification" from the drop down menu. Click apply or OK.

    Thank you ellalan - my speaker icon is in the sys tray. What I had upon receiving the new laptop was a displayed sound scale when pressing Fn+Up/Down keys. That scale is gone. I can't find it in the Acer ePower or other software.
