I installed the newest ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 drivers for my TimelineX 5820TG from AMD's website with the "AMD Driver AutoDetect", and now I am unable to set the screen resolution more than 1024 x 768 (it's supposed to be 1366 x 768), and the AMD Catalyst Control Center will not work... I do not have an option to use the switchable graphics etc. The computer has become somewhat slow (i.e. typing this up in my web browser, moving windows around is laggy etc...). I am running Windows 7 Home Edition, 64-bit.

How can I fix this? Need help in fixing this issue, or install the previous drivers that I had...
When clicking "view log" on the first picture, this is what comes up:

Edit:
Went into Device Manager, and saw this:

Edit 2:
I was able to update this one through Device Manager

However the second one:

It still has the yellow triangle on there, and it says the same as the picture in the first edit of this post...
Edit 3:
Here are the drivers that came up on the Acer website when I searched for Acer 5820TG drivers:

Should I try to install some of these, and if yes, which ones?

Is .Net Framework up to date?
-
I have run the Windows Update and do not have any updates pending on that one.
See 1st post for updates on this matter.
Will one of these drivers from the Acer website fix my issue? If yes, which one(s)?

If you have any .Net installed and Windows update shows no updates, that means it's fine.
Any driver that shows as HD5650 is very old, newer ones will show HD5000 series, for now it's working but you could choose to manually install the driver and chose the previous one from he list (the one you updated from to the not-working one).
As for Intel graphics, I don't have switchable graphics so I won't be very helpful here but try Intel website - if you use IE to access it these should be an AciveX that automatically detects Intel hardware you have and install drivers for it.
Not sure if that will be enough though. -
I clicked on uninstall (see image above), and the system required a restart. Upon the restart, Windows Update kicked in and found an update! It installed, and it works again. I'm guessing it is the update to the older version I already had from before... HOWEVER, when trying to launch ADM Catalyst Control Center, the same error message still pops up (see image below).
Any ideas on how to fix this?
