Does anyone have this problem, the hard drive always in use. the light is blinking every few seconds, even when sitting idle and nothing running. wifi on or not. i used task manager to see what it is, and its the nt kernel and system, Any1 have a clue what is causing this? Thanks

i have found that a 2 GB or more SD card used for readyboost decreases hard drive use a bit. this could help as well if ya have it.

Do you have any antivirus program ? Maybe it scans your harddrive in the background.
    Or a torrent application?

Yes sure, that's it. I forgot about the AV. It's always scanning files. SO no problem here ;)
