I'm not from UK and my model is not pictured there. Main difference is that I have T7500, 8600 GS and no turbo memory. Too bad in my country computer with T7500 *and* 8600 GT is not available.

Only thing I'd like to see with these computers are better display -- 1440x1020 or even 1650x1050 config would be awesome.

    Well, someday ...

I know how you feel mate. Went round in circles when shopping for mine. Some have integrated graphics, some discrete, some have 1Gb RAM, others 2Gb. Even the processors change depending on which "flavour" you go for.

And just to make things more interesting(!) there are a load of configurations available on-line and on the high street that aren't even listed.

Lovely machines though (mind you, only had mine for a week so it's still the honeymoon period!).

Now looking at a 5720 for my daughter for Christmas and there are just as many confusing configurations for that one too!!

Indeed, retailers had no idea of the spec they were selling. The high school drop outs that answer the Acer UK Commercial and Product Information, could only manage to spout off what there website said, which was incorrect.

So, I ended up with a 5920 with an 8600m GS and G wifi, rather than the 8600GT and the draft-N I wanted, which I put up with as Acer said they were not releasing any future laptops in the near future. Bollocks.

Oh, and it only went back twice to be repaired in the first 6 weeks.

While it's an ok laptop when it's working, it has certainly put me off Acer big style.
