This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     5920 card reader question

    Just tried to copy some photos from my camera to this new laptop. The 1Gb kingston card isn't even recognised(?) but put in daughter's SONY and it works fine. Tried a 1Gb memorex card and that's fine in my laptop. Also it won't
    read a 2Gb card, is this correct or is it very finicky about which cards it will or won't read?
