    Hi,

firstly these acer forums have been fantastically useful. The 5920G is the first laptop I have bought and there was much useful info in these forums espech from bigspin)

    V. pleased with the 5920G :) , comes with all the specs etc. However, I don't know if this has been reported. When I plug headphones into the line out jack they never really stay in. I've tried 3 types of headphones, and they do the same (to lesser or greated extents). They plug in, but they kind of half spring out again. They don't really "click in" securely. It's as if they are slightly too phat to fit in properly  .

I can contact acer about this, but befor making a wally for myself has anyone else found this or recommend headphones?

    welcome rotter.
i have also found this forum the best place to go for answers,i have an aspire 7110 just for surfing the net and music. i had the same trouble as you with the headphone jack but after lots of use it seems ok now :)

it may just need time to wear in.

I had a look at the line out port and gave it a quick clean with some air...and bingo! the headphones plug in securely.

Guess something was stuck in there
