I was trying to update the BIOS of my Aspire 5920G to the latest BIOS loaded on the ACER drivers site (v1.3813) and when the laptop tried to restart the whole system collapsed, giving me the blue screen.

I can’t event start the laptop in SAFE mode.
When I logged into the Setup Utility, it shows the System BIOS Version as v1.3813 and VGA Bios Version as nVidia 60.86.54.00.27

What the hell is going on here?

    How can I fix this?

I dont have an Acer , yet

But maybe you are booting in EIDE mode instead of SATA or the other way around, a BSOD on bootup can be cause by this.

Look for AHCI mode or HDD mode in the BIOS , and try it with enabled and disabled and see what happens.

Well thankfully, since you can get INTO the BIOS, you aren't dealing with a bricked system.
    Unfortunately, I haven't a clue.
