Hey, today I have tried FEAR free multiplayer and I am somewhat disappopinted in peformance...
I mean I tried it with 2GHz precessor, Vista, 2GB RAM and GFM8600GT at 580/450MHz with 158.45 drivers and the ABSOLUTE maximum performance I could get out of FEAR with ridiculously lowest settings possible @ 640x480 was about 33FPS !!!!!!! I mean maximum of 33FPS literally without graphics sometimes dropping to around 2X FPS. Well at the same time performance mostly stays above 24FPS when running around alone with medium/high graphics settings @ decent resolution like 1024x640 and maybe even higher settings.
So it's like, yes, the game runs OK with high graphich quality and visuals, but if you Really want a 100% smooth gameplay with average framerate around 30FPS even in highly intensive firefight moments it looks like 5920 can not deliver that kind of performance at all!!! WTF?!

Try 163.44 drivers, or try setting your power management settings to High Performance. I heard some people using the balanced power settings have their frame rate capped to 30 in FEAR.

I get around 60-89 FPS at 1280x800 with auto-configured settings, most of which are on HIGH/Maximum when I checked. Runs really smoothly. In firefights, that can drop to around 30, but on an occasional basis.

Im using the balanced power settings...works fine for me.
