I'm running the last BIOS released, 3708...so I'm wondering what kind of Penryn support it has, as I can't find any info about what this BIOS supports. and, if those in the know would be so kind and tell, what's the fastest Penryn that's going to remain with a 35w tdp, as that's all my book will cool.![]()
edit - how odd, I could have sworn I was in the Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades forum when I posted this.![]()

I'm also want to know about that.I think current BIOS can't support penryn CPUs ,so we wanna wait few weeks(Or contact acer support)

The next question will be, when will the processors be available ?
-
Bios will be soon avalibe I found on web that Acer puts Penryn to new 5920G.
Check this out

NCIX.com already has the T8100, T8300 and T9300 listed, tho they're more available for pre-order then not.
as for that link Shamtu, we just need to find out what BIOS they're running and whether or not they're compatible with our 5920G's! -
Why BIOS from NEW 5920G may be not compatabil with our ones?? It's the same platform with new processor.
