    5920G power on problem

    I can't turn on my Acer 5920G in battery mode. Any help will be appreciated...

    I don't think so. The battery works great when I unplug the power adapter. I just can't turn it on.

    i had problems with my first 8920 running on battery mode too, the screen just bootup blank while its on battery. don't know any solution to that but to return it to the retail shop and make them swap me a new working one since i only had it for like 1 day when i found out bout this problem

    maybe BIOS prob......

    What's your BIOS version?

    Have you try to reseat it?

    Try booting without the battery on - just the power cable,
    then shut down (or hibernate),
    then remove the power cable,
    then put the battery on,
    then switch it on.

    If it does not work try again and if still does not work then I don't know.
