    Hi guys

    Currently i have the standard 2x1gb pc2-5300 sticks, could i upgrade to pc2-6400 sticks? and will they run at 6400 speed? or is 5300 the max?

    also will the laptop take a t7700?

    Your pc2-5300 is sufficient as the 6400 sticks will be underclocked to 667 MHz as well.

    It can take the T7700.

    ah thought thats what might happen, just saw a good deal on 2x2gb pc2-6400 sticks might be still worth the upgrade even though it only run them @ 5300 speed
