after i've posted this, sleep problem hunted me again...and again i've looked for answers...found solution for my 5920G:
GO TO DEVICE MANAGER -> NETWORK ADAPTERS -> BROADCOM NETLINK.....(IF YOU HAVE A LAN INTERNET CONECTION) -> ADVANCED -> WAKE UP CAPABILITIES -> NONE ....AT POWER MANAGEMENT TAB I'VE CHECKED THE "ALOW THE COMPUTER TO TURN OFF THIS DEVICE TO SAVE POWER" OPTION...
THIS MADE MY VISTA SLEEP WORKING ...NO PROBLEMS TILL NOW
