I've upgraded to varios hacked drivers from laptopvideo2go and they caused BSOD when I used standby mode. It was also related to AverMedia USB ATSC tuner.
Stock drivers do not have this issue. Anyone else had this experience? Is there a way to get offical upgraded driver for 5920G? What driver is the most stable?

    Thanks!

I can tell what you mean, but what does BSOD actually mean? :D
I switched drivers from laptopvideo2go to see which one was the best for me. I use 162.18 now, because all the latest ones didn't give me the performance I have now. For me, the only driver which caused "BSOD" when I use standby mode was 163.44. Rest was ok, but as I said, they didn't convince me.

Weird because I used 163.44 and now I use 163.69 and had no problem with them!!
I tried 165.01 and worked alright but it does not come back from stand by so it is rubish

hmm.. i just got woke up to a bsod also. I'm using the 163.69 drivers. I have it set to go into hibernate after 2 hrs of sleep. It seems to be able to wake up from a normal sleep ok, but when it tries to go into hibernate, it bsod's.

I think I will try this driver, because lately, my 162.18 driver sometimes crashes whn I'm watching a movie in windows media player.
    Thx Bigspin.
BTW, did you modify this inf file, or is it the modded inf from laptopvideo2go?

well so far so good, everything seems ok. I'm using the 163.69 drivers. I did a total uninstall, then ccleaner to get rid of old drivers, then fresh install of new drivers. seems to wake up from sleep/hibernate ok now.
