Hi ppl, i bet u were waiting for this one )) well, here it comes, yes, i bought an 5920G and a Crysis game too, i feel like i have enough hardware to play it on high specs but it seems to be painfully slow... i guess my problem are the drivers (laptop versions fro acer site to be precise)... anyone having same issue? And how do you tweak the laptop to play with better fps?
    Thanks!

btw, my config. dual core 2.2, 4GB RAM (vista 32 so lets say 3GB), nvidia 8600gt with 512MB RAM

You can't play Crysis on high with a 8600M GT.... however, I believe medium or medium-low should be fine... :)

You can play crysis ,but you need to force dx9 mode instead of DX10.

This is what you can get in Crysis with 5920G and 8600M GT 512 mb:

    Crysis
    Resolution: 1280x800 (no AA)
    DX: 9 (in Vista)
    Texture Quality: High
    Physics Quality: High
    Game Effects Quality: High
    Post Processing Quality: High
    Water Quality: High
    Sound Quality: High
    Objects Quality: Medium
    Shaders Quality: Medium
Volumetric Effects Quality: Low (can set Medium-High, but I like completely clear sky more)
    Shadows Quality: Low
    Particles Quality: Low
Average FPS: 20 (beautiful and playable @ settings specified above).

On the contrary, your graphic card can be changed. Its not integrated to the motherboad. You should be able to get a 8800GTS/GTX to fit in there very easily. I'd suggest you look into getting a BIOS update, if you plan to go this route. A 20% overclock, is very viable for you as well.

Little important aspect. MXM has 3 types. For top videoboards (7800, 8800)the MXM-III is suitable. For mainstream (7600, 8600) - only MXM-II. These modules are very different in physical size and designed power consumption, so in many cases they are practically incompatible.
Insertion of MXM-III in laptop with regular MXM-II is almost impossible. At least you'll probably need to mod or replace some components of laptop. Power adapter, cooling system - not probably, but certainly.
