I decided to update the stock driver that came with my 5920G to the Nvidia 163.44 driver and windows got an error and told me the driver was not compatible. When I try to update through device manager it says my drivers are already up to date. Other people with 5920Gs have downloaded the 163.44 driver and said it increases game performance. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate your help. Also what is the best driver to download for the 5920G?

I'm using a 5920G best buy model with Vista Home Premium 32-bit and a
    8600M GT 256mb w/ 1gb turbocache.
It says my stock drivers are 7.15.11.119.

You need to download the latest driver from Laptopvideo2go.com. download the driver file and the modded inf file from the site. Extract the driver file contents on a folder and drop the inf file onto the folder. Copy and replace. Install by clicking setup.

U can get the installation guide from the above site. Enjoy !!

    Thanks for the reply.
I am planning on updating my Bios, would these modded drivers affect a Bios update at all?

Thanks for the help, I installed the 169.09 driver. I picked this one because it said it was the "Crysis driver." However, I saw little improvement in Crysis. Strangly enough though I saw big improvements in STALKER and
Call of Duty 4!? Is there a good stable driver for games like Crysis and The Witcher?

if you want to play crysis you need a pc with at least a 512 mb 8800gt to play the game at about 40fps at high settings.playing it on the 5920 is going to be a complete waste of a superb game.dont get me wrong i have a 5920 and it is a good laptop and can play most games at medium settings very well, but crysis is a different matter it takes a mother of a setup to play this smoothly and i am saving to build a desktop so i can do this game justice ithink the wait will be worthwhile.

True. I know Crysis on my laptop isn't going to look anything like the promo shots. However, I can play the Crysis demo on medium settings at about 20 fps, which is surprising very playable, and with a few tweaks that i've found:

    http://www.gamecritics.com/the-noobs-guide-to-optimizing-crysis

the game actually looks better than medium (little to no performance impact!). Keep in mind i'm using the best buy model as well(1.5Ghz cpu) so its actually not too terribly bad for an $1100 notebook. I was just hoping to find a driver that would allow me a couple more fps.

Does the full version of Crysis run better than the demo? I've heard the last boss battle chugs a lot, but overall is the performance better?
