    5920G: Where is my L2 Cache ??

    hey guys i dont understand why my 5920G with 4MB L2 Cache is slow on start up.. i've just restore my system from the Back up Dvd's and it's still takes from 5 or 7 Minutes to finish loading !!:confused2: :confused2:

    by luck i entered the Acer eSetting Management to chechk the Processor and i didn't find my L2 Cache :eek: :confused: which is 4MB !!

    and how much time does your 5920G takes from you Press the Power button Untill that Blinking light next to the power button finishs loading and stop blinking.. ??? :SLEEP:

    It's there ... don't worry :)

    The L2 cache is on the processor if you were wondering ;) That's what I thought the title meant. I'd try using a different utility to find the cache if you are really worried about it.

    Run Cpu-z & tell us what it says on the first page.
    If it was missing your proc wouldn't work. the abbove is for you.

    CPU-Z is an application for download that shows you extensive info. about your hardware. You have L2 cache because you would'nt be able to use a computer without it.

    but do you have any idea on how long the notebook takes from pushing the Power Button to finish loading on start up.. is 7 minutes normal or what ?

    7 Min for bootup is really slow.Try Vista tweaks @ OS forum
