    Hi..

I bought recently a used 5920g (with 8600gs), i´m trying to connect it to a tv using a S-video adaptor (4 pin, the laptop has 7 pin)..windows recognizes a second monitor and Nvidia panel recognizes the TV but i cant get any picture in the TV. Using latest Nvidia drivers and Windows 7 32bit.

For a second i got something on the TV but it was the only time. The cables are working ok, because i tried with my desktop (ATI card).

    -Can i use a Svideo 4pin in a 7 pin entrance?
-Does anyone have some suggestion how to get this working?

    Thanks..

Possibly an MXM structure issue - you may want to try the MXM-modded BIOS in the x920G vs 9600M GT topic. Use at your own risk, though, and make a crisis recovery disk before flashing!

Thanks for replying..that will be the last resource, i prefer first try other possibilites, i did once brick a motherboard playing with a modded bios in my old AMD 1800+ motherboard :D

But a 4-pin s-video connector will work on the 7-pin?

It should work, the extra pins are only for the YPbPr component video breakout box.
